Responsibilities & Context:
∎ NGO Forum for Public Health has been implementing the project “Maintaining Access to ‘Humanitarian’ Services for Rohingyas in Bangladesh” since 2016.The project is rewarded by the UNHCR for an extension period in 2023 to render the Self Reliance Services in a more intensive manner to the refugee displaced from Myanmar in Bashan Char.
∎ The primary goal of this project is to empower 400 refugee women through a holistic approach, including capacity-building and skill development training. These women will be engaged as production workers, creating opportunities for them to earn wages and, in turn, contribute to the improved future of Rohingya communities.
∎ The main objective of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Camp Manager for the "Self-Reliance and Livelihoods Project" in Bashanchar in order to ensure that the Self Reliance intervention is implemented as effectively as possible while maintaining the highest level of standards and quality.
∎ Overall management and profitable operation and maintain of Production center.
∎ Staff supervision, monitoring and to maintain regular communication with management.
∎ Communication & coordination with relevant stakeholders (CiC Office, Site Management, other organization etc).
∎ To prepare monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and annual Report.
∎ To prepare staff work plan & ensure timely and effective implementation;
∎ To conduct assessment of the training participants group and lining with common sewing zone and production center and selection of FDMN women and girls for livelihood (Sanitary pad/Jute bag production center) and life skill training.
∎ To Follow up skill development training and Market Promotion activities.
∎ Facilitate meetings with team members, different group meetings in the center.
∎ To maintain order and servicing from the production center, ensure available raw material for production center and follow up stock register, challan, Cash memo, Cash book, Ledger, sales register, and production center.
∎ Self-participation and engaging project participants in the camp coordination meeting;
∎ Communication with Different stakeholders (GoB, Food Distribution agencies, Host community School, collage, Market) for marketing and implementation the intervention.
∎ Distribute training incentives among the training participants as well as the skilled production labor.
∎ Support any form of training taking place (for staffs, for program participants etc.).
∎ Participate in camp coordination and camp sectoral meetings.
∎ Contribute to building a harmonious environment, based on team spirit, mutual respect and understanding.
∎ Building and strengthen capacity of the project staff on facilitation skills and programmatic knowledge and update information.
∎ Monitoring overall intervention and prepare cost benefit analysis.
∎ Monitoring the project activities and prepare report and documentation as per requirements.
∎ Ensure IEC materials and Promotional activities through different distribution point and display center.
∎ Behave properly and positively with refugees, both professionally and personally, in accordance with the highest standards.
∎ Perform duties and conduct private affairs in a manner that avoids conflicts of interest.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities assigned by the project Manager, Self-reliance and Livelihood as well as the senior management of NGO Forum.
