• Oversee daily café operations including opening & closing, ensuring smooth service.

• Recruit, hire, train and mentor café staff (baristas, servers, kitchen helpers).

• Schedule staff shifts, manage attendance and organize backup staffing when needed.

• Maintain high standards of customer service; handle customer complaints and feedback.

• Manage inventory: order supplies, monitor stock levels, control wastage.

• Monitor food & beverage preparation to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation.

• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, safety and compliance with relevant health regulations.

• Control costs: labour, supplies, utilities; maintain budgets and improve profitability.

• Track sales, revenues, expenses; prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial reports.

• Plan and execute promotions, special offers or events to attract customers.

• Develop and improve the café menu, adapt items based on customer preferences or trends.

• Maintain café ambience: cleanliness, décor, comfort, customer experience.

• Maintain equipment: ensure maintenance, repair, and proper usage of machines.

• Foster a positive working environment; motivate staff; resolve conflicts amicably.

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, or external partners to ensure reliable procurement and supply chain.
