Job Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the overall daily operations of the café.
Ensure compliance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints, feedback, and service-related issues professionally.
Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages.
Supervise baristas, service staff, kitchen staff, and other operational employees.
Prepare duty rosters, shift schedules, and leave plans.
Train, guide, motivate, and evaluate team members regularly.
Monitor daily sales reports, cash closing, billing, and financial transactions.
Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets.
Control food costs, beverage costs, labour costs, wastage, and other operational expenses.
Ensure the availability of food items, beverages, ingredients, and operational supplies.
Supervise stock requisition, receiving, storage, inventory, and stock reconciliation.
Monitor product expiry dates, storage conditions, and stock rotation.
Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen, dining area, storage area, and service station.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors when required.
Support the management and marketing teams in promotional campaigns, events, and special offers.
Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to senior management.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
