Additional Requirements: - At least 4-6 years of experience in training, market linkage, or livelihood programming, preferably in a development or humanitarian setting.
- Academic qualifications and experience may be relaxed for experienced candidates.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, value chains and marketing,
- Excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Must have Computer knowledge (MS Word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc.)
- Strong in English and capable of writing quality reports in English is necessary.
Responsibilities & Context: Community Development Centre –CODEC is a leading development organization have been working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. CODEC Community Development Centre (CODEC) is implementing “Southeast Flood response ““ project in Noakhali district funded by WFP. At present CODEC is implementing ''Cash for Work’’ supported by WFP in Noakhali district.T
The project initially run up to 15 May 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for project beneficiaries on various livelihood activities.
- Conduct market assessments to identify small income generation opportunities and establish sustainable market linkages for project beneficiaries.
- Facilitate connections between root level target group, and other market players to enhance market access.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and market linkage activities, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes, market opportunities, and beneficiary progress, focusing on sustainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and private sector partners to enhance market access and promote sustainable livelihood practices.
- Other related activities will be assigned by the Project Coordinator.
- Should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)'s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
- Ensure the safety of team members (with respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
