Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate with 4-5 years of sales and collection experience.
∎ Results Oriented - Meet deadlines on assignments, juggle multiple demands, and work with various functional teams and the Managing Director of the business.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead sales (primarily cash & carry) and collection for the Fruits Business in the key markets e.g., Badamtoli
∎ Daily error-free sales and collection reconciliation to be done as the prime responsibility.
∎ Achieve pre-agreed sales & collection targets for the business.
∎ Ensure gross and net margins as per the pre-agreed targets.
∎ Ensure zero wastage of the inventory with the concerned operational units.
∎ Continuously develop and grow the customer base for the business.
∎ Ensure granularity of the sales - sales per customer to have a balanced distribution.
∎ Ensure repeat sales to the existing customers and increase wallet share for the retained customers.
∎ Provide demand intelligence and estimation to the procurement team about what (quality/specs), when, and how much to procure - coordinate extensively with the procurement teams on the fulfillment process to ensure there is no excess inventory or lost sales opportunity.
∎ Work on special projects with Managing Director to set up better processes for sales/collection operations, margin maximization, inventory accounting, demand planning, market expansion etc.
∎ Contribute towards venturing into more value-added activities e.g. processing (dehydrates, pulp, IQF), repackaging etc.
∎ Contribute towards launching own private label brands
∎ Ensure sales and collection data is captured in ERP on time and in full as per the SOPs of the company.
∎ Collaborate with the ERP/Product Team for product/tech changes that improve sales and collection productivity and reduce leakages in the processes.
∎ Lead a team in the future based out of key fruit markets to manage sales and collection operations.
∎ Should be familiar with the understanding of commercial agreements with suppliers, customers, etc.
∎ Review periodically receivables, payables, advances, etc and do a check of the balance sheet to ensure closure of all pending issues and accounting for costs/provisions
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good Knowledge of Fruits and the Import-Export industry.
∎ Good working knowledge of Google Sheets/Docs and MS office - excel, word, powerpoint, etc.
∎ Very good written and oral communication skills.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
∎ Ability to work in a team environment.
Salary:
∎ For a position based in Dhaka: Fixed and Variable pay - CTC BDT 8 lacs per annum. (Negotiable).
There would be some travel both local and international.
