Responsibilities & Context:

Business Growth & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation services.
  • Generate leads, meet potential clients, and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and business reviews with key clients.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market reach.
  • Identify new sectors or industries for logistics services (e.g., e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, etc.).

Coordination & Operations Support

  • Coordinate with operations, transport, and warehouse teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
  • Ensure smooth communication between sales and operations departments.
  • Track and monitor shipment status for key accounts.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain sales pipelines and update CRM or reporting tools regularly.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales performance and business development activities.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and case studies.

Networking & Representation

  • Attend business meetings, industry events, and trade fairs to promote company services.
  • Represent the company professionally with clients and partners.
