Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Animal/Plant Breeding, Architecture Firm
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Apply general and specialized knowledge of principles, concepts and business operations to projects in the incumbent's field of expertise (agricultural production/agronomy, ag economics, ag marketing, agribusiness, ag trade, policy) in developing country contexts.
∎ Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry or economic conditions.
∎ Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment risk trends, economic influences, and other factors.
∎ Monitor economic situations and model changes within specified agribusiness sectors.
∎ Use various econometric modelling software and techniques to produce reports.
∎ Apply models of economic behavior to areas such as plant, crop or livestock pricing, and disease outbreaks.
∎ Prepare technical reports and statistical charts.
∎ In a bank, provide financial analysis in relation to credit, loans or investments in a variety of agribusiness sectors.
∎ Prepare a business model / plan.
