Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished news reports, features, explainers, and social media packages within tight deadlines.
Design static and motion graphics for news, special features, and digital campaigns.
Produce infographics, charts, and visual explainers to simplify complex data and stories.
Add subtitles, lower-thirds, intros/outros, and branding elements to all video content.
Collaborate with reporters, producers, and editors to ensure visual storytelling aligns with UNB’s editorial standards.
Optimize all visuals and videos for multi-platform distribution (website, mobile, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X).
Maintain and organize multimedia assets, ensuring proper archiving.
Keep up to date with design, newsroom, and digital video trends to continuously elevate UNB’s visual output.
