Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
- The incumbent will be responsible for biomass multiplication and tissue culture operations. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in handling fungal tissue culture techniques and the ability to manage dedicated laboratories independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tissue culture activities including:
- Liquid culture expansion
- Grain-to-grain transfer
- Agar plate techniques
- Other advanced multiplication methods
- Independently manage the operations of the Tissue Culture Lab and Multiplication Lab.
- Ensure contamination-free culture handling and maintain accuracy in all experimental procedures.
- Maintain lab hygiene, safety protocols, and proper documentation of processes.
- Support in developing and optimizing culture techniques for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with research and production teams for biomass multiplication.
