Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and serve various beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, matcha, and specialty Japanese-inspired drinks.
∎ Calibrate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment daily for optimal performance.
∎ Ensure consistent quality by following precise recipes and presentation standards.
∎ Educate customers on coffee beans, brewing methods, and the menu's unique offerings.
∎ Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages timely.
∎ Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of the barista station, utensils, and equipment.
∎ Upsell items and suggest pairings with desserts or light snacks to enhance the guest experience.
∎ Support in training new barista team members in brewing techniques and customer service.
∎ Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory, and wastage.
