Responsibilities & Context:

Beverage Preparation:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other specialty drinks.
  • Ensure all drinks meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Customize drinks based on guest preferences, including milk alternatives or adjustments to sweetness or strength.

Customer Service:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take customer orders and provide drink recommendations based on preferences.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by providing attentive, personalized service.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Keep the coffee station, work areas, and seating areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Clean coffee machines, grinders, counters, and utensils regularly, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Quality Control:

  • Consistently check the quality of beverages, ensuring they meet both company standards and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain the freshness of ingredients like coffee beans, milk, and syrups.
