Next Global Services is an Australian recruitment company based in Perth, Western Australia.

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our client's production team on a permanent basis in Tom Price, Western Australia.

• Subclass 482 visa sponsorship is available for the successfull candidates

About the role

In this role, you'll be responsible for producing quality bread and pastry products to specification, working with dough, pastry, and baking equipment to deliver consistent results. You'll manage the full production cycle—from ingredient preparation and mixing through to baking, cooling, and finishing—while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety that keep the bakery running smoothly. This is hands-on work that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine commitment to craft.

• Full responsibility for bread and pastry production, from dough preparation to finished product

• Operate bakery machinery and ovens safely and efficiently, with minimal supervision

• Maintain rigorous health, safety, and hygiene standards across all production and service duties

Preferred Requirements

• Proven experience in a bakery or production environment, with hands-on baking skills

• Competence in weighing ingredients, mixing dough, and shaping bread and pastry products

• Ability to monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine correct baking times

• Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene compliance, including equipment checks and cleaning protocols

• Reliable, organised approach to production scheduling, inventory management, and record-keeping

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal bakery or pastry qualification, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a commercial bakery

• Current food safety or hygiene certification

• Experience in a customer-facing retail environment is advantageous

• IELTS or PTE result is required for the visa purpose
