Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor/Honors in Digital Journalism, Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, in film studies, cinematography or English, Public Relations or related field
∎ Experienced candidates in the related fields will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the Sector specialist teams to develop AV education and interactive messages for children and youth education.
∎ Coordinate production logistics and assignments for photo, footage needs and other digital media projects in collaboration with internal teams.
∎ Maintain constant awareness of key strategic initiatives and how the specialist team can support those initiatives.
∎ Liaise with technical team and similar education partners on collaborations and other matters concerning refugee education.
∎ Participate and contribute to monthly content planning/technical meetings with relevant technical teams.
∎ Discover what's new by meeting with technical teams to uncover the stories we should be sharing throughout the education sector.
∎ Develop outline content strategy objectives, editorial approach, messaging, narrative, tone of voice and voice over guides.
∎ Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
∎ Helps to edit content to ensure coherence, style, accuracy, and adherence to brand and editorial guidelines.
∎ Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and our best practices to maximize efficiency.
∎ Create, write and edit compelling project case study contents for internal publication, website and other efforts.
∎ Work with the specialist team for Content Development on strategic briefings directly with beneficiary to build the framework of stories/materials we want to develop for quality education.
∎ Knowledge of:
∎ Writing scripts and/or basic programs to assist with managing AV systems.
∎ Uses various software and hardware tools, installs software and/or hardware,
∎ Working with technical and functional staff to resolve system integration issues.
∎ Developing technical procedures, techniques, or programs to analyze or improve the performance and efficiency of software and hardware systems. Writing advanced scripts and/or programs to assist with AV technologies
∎ Using various software and hardware tools; installs software and/or hardware; and writes documentation.
∎ Contributing technical projects as part of a cross functional team
∎ Technical aspects of audio and video systems
∎ Microsoft Office and related software applications
∎ Timing, motivation and continuity
∎ Skill in:
∎ Everyday Troubleshooting
∎ Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Light works, Adobe Audition, Premier pro, After effects and Final Cut)
∎ Adobe Photoshop CC 2021 and Adobe illustrator CC 2022
∎ Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
∎ Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
∎ Creative mind and storytelling skills
∎ Developing and maintaining effective and appropriate working relationships
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3-5 years of related experience and
∎ Women are highly encouraged to apply
∎ The ability to travel to all refugee camp areas.
∎ The ability to work occasional weekends and outside normal work schedule.
∎ Must have the knowledge of local language
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
