Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage day-to-day operations of the breeder farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the breeder flock.
∎ Implement breeding programs to optimize flock performance and ensure genetic diversity.
∎ Monitor egg production and hatch rates, and implement strategies to maximize hatchability.
∎ Supervise the selection and culling of breeder birds based on performance and genetic traits.
∎ Maintain accurate records of breeding activities, egg production, and flock performance.
∎ Collaborate with veterinarians and other professionals to maintain flock health and prevent disease outbreaks.
