Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take the charges of overall of quality control functions of an individual factory delivering products to top-class customers in USA/ Europe and being responsible for the quality of the apparels produced and delivered
∎ Making plan for the overall quality controlling of the factory to ensure that quality of the garments delivered to our customers are in line with their (customers') needs and company's objects
∎ Discuss with buyers' /merchandisers/ Technical/QC staffs to address Quality requirements and receive their instructions/recommendations and help them take decision at the same time
∎ Communicate the buyers' recommendations to the people involved in production, quality control & merchandising
∎ Plan and handle quality control procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality
∎ Taking the responsibility for assuring the factory is following buyers' technical specifications (AQLs: Acceptable Quality Level) and make sure that OQLs (Observed Quality Level) at the factories are in line with international quality practices
∎ Make sure that the quality personnel are aware of the quality requirement of the particular buyers and provide train and educate them to maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the buyer' specifications
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have at least 10-12 years of experience in highly reputed garments factories/ buying houses engaged in business with world-class customers/brands out of which 3 to 5 years in supervising the overall quality control functions of 20 lines Woven garments factories (top/bottoms) for renowned branded buyers.
∎ Capable to handle the most critical buyers/brands/styles with zero tolerance.
∎ A solid Knowledge of Internationally Accepted Quality Standard (AQL) and maintain the OQL in line with AQL
∎ Should have thorough knowledge on fabric/garments testing, delivery inspections, in-line & final inspections
∎ Should be very much familiar with Grading, Size Ranges, Pattern, Fabrics, Trims, different Washes etc.
∎ Must be familiar with GSD and should have a very good aptitude to educate and handle quality control personnel
∎ Should have clear idea about production planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of GSD.
∎ Excellent communication skills. A good command over English is essential and ability to mix up in a cosmopolitan environment is a must.
∎ Capability to work with MS- Office, Internet & E-mail.
