Experience:

• 10 to 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Fisheries

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or DVM from any reputed university.

• Candidates with graduation in any discipline and relevant experience in the above-mentioned position may also apply.

• PGDSCM will be an added advantage.

• Experience in poultry industry procurement (local & Import) (medicine, vaccine, poultry raw materials) is preferable.

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including raw material (RM) purchase planning, vendor management, and requisition processing in line with SOPs.

• Manage both import and local commercial operations, including sourcing, documentation, shipment coordination, logistics, and alignment with production requirements.

• Handle complete LC operations through close coordination with banks and internal finance teams.

• Prepare, review, and validate all commercial and shipping documents; manage customs clearance, VAT, tax, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with banks, C&F agents, transporters, shipping lines, suppliers, DLS, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

• Drive raw material procurement efficiency by ensuring competitive pricing, quality assurance, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

• Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers for both LC-based and local purchases.
