Job Context:

The Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales & Marketing plays a crucial role in achieving the company’s revenue goals by developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving market growth. The position requires a proactive, target-oriented individual who understands market trends, customer needs, and promotional tactics. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams (marketing, design, engineering, and management) to ensure smooth execution of sales campaigns and customer service excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
• Generate leads through direct marketing, referrals, social media, and corporate outreach.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations to convert prospects into customers.
• Maintain strong follow-up with potential clients and ensure timely conversion.
• Develop and manage relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and partner organizations.
• Negotiate terms, prepare proposals/quotations, and ensure timely closing of deals.
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, client interactions, and sales activities.

Marketing Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms.
• Work with the creative/marketing team to prepare promotional content, brochures, advertisements, and social media posts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding pricing, campaign design, and promotional strategy.
• Coordinate with media agencies, vendors, and marketing partners for event management, promotions, and branding activities.

Customer Relationship Management

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and timely service.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and service requirements and ensure resolution.
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

Reporting & Team Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
• Assist in creating sales forecasts, marketing budgets, and strategic plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and accounts to ensure smooth project execution and customer onboarding.
• Train and guide junior sales executives when required.
