Responsibilities & Context: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a company has the primary responsibility of producing accurate, timely, transparent and complete financial reporting. CFO helps in devising and establishing the financial goals of the organization, and its budgeting and planning process.
This position is also responsible to maintain investor relations and partnership compliance.
- Prepare and review a robust cash flow projection.
- Work with bankers and financial institutions to ensure timely repayment of loans, ensure de-securitization of properties at the right time.
- Manage optimal cash flow to ensure the minimum float
- Develop an excellent cash management process so as to effectively utilize the cash.
- Corporate Governance & Regulatory.
- Maintain cash book, subsidiary ledger of bills receivable and bills payable to keep records of day-to-day expenditures and closing cash books on a daily basis.
- Responsible for reconciling all bank accounts and cash book on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Responsible for the preparation of weekly, monthly, yearly financial Statements i.e., Balance sheet, P & L, Cash flow statements etc.
- Preparing and posting all kinds of vouchers, Journal, Journal adjustments, general ledger different registers related to finance & accounts are maintained up to date.
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day activities of team members.
- Responsible for capital management, budgeting and implementation of budgetary control over the finance of the company.
- Maintain close liaison with all Banks and Financial Institutions relevant to company business.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and customers regarding all financial transactions.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Coordinate with internal and external audits of financial records and implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- RJSC related duties, such as annual return submission, Share Transfer, Widing Up process and etc., RJSC;
- Prepare monthly payroll and labor payment sheet;
- Ensure VDS, TDS, VAT returns, and Tax returns in a timely as per rules & regulations·
- Ensure all necessary tax & Vat deduction from various sources & deposit with appropriate govt. authority within the time limit including
- To look after all Tax & VAT matters of the company.
- Handling company & personal Tax & VAT planning.
- Any other tasks as instructed by the higher authority
