Responsibilities & Context:
Bashundhara Industrial Complex Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant / First Aid Officer to join its Cement Factory team at Narayanganj (Bandar) and Khulna (Mongla). The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of handling medical emergencies, providing first aid support, and ensuring occupational health and safety within the factory premises.
Job Responsibilities:
Attend all medical emergencies within the factory and provide immediate first aid/life support
Examine, diagnose, and treat employees for minor injuries, cuts, burns, and illnesses
Perform minor medical procedures such as wound dressing, stitching, and bandaging
Stabilize and refer serious cases to the hospital when necessary
Maintain medical room, ambulance, and emergency medicine inventory
Conduct periodic health check-ups and maintain patient medical records
Support the EHS team in health awareness and first aid training for workers
Ensure compliance with the Factory Act and Occupational Health & Safety standards
Manage cases related to accidents, burns, fractures, chemical exposure, and heat stress
