Job Context

Meghna Bulk Bag Industries Limited (MBBIL) is one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). Currently, MBBIL is seeking candidates for an Asst. Engineer/ Executive position for the Production Department. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing the sewing and finishing aspects of the manufacturing operations. The person will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and quality, collaborating with various cross-functional teams to streamline production processes, minimize waste, and foster continuous improvement, and will report directly to the Plant Head.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan production capacity to meet operational and delivery targets effectively.

• Schedule production activities to ensure timely and efficient workflow.

• Set up production lines and machines based on planning, manpower, and material availability to optimize operations.

• Follow up on hourly production progress to identify and resolve delays or inefficiencies.

• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure a smooth supply of input materials and prevent interruptions.

• Meet delivery schedules and quality standards to satisfy customer requirements and maintain organizational reputation.

• Maintain traceability and workplace organization to ensure compliance with operational standards.

• Utilize manpower, equipment, facilities, and materials effectively to achieve cost and resource efficiency.

• Increase productivity through innovation, rework reduction, and waste minimization to drive operational improvements.

• Run skill development schemes for operators to enhance workforce capabilities and performance.

• Manage overall shift administration to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
