∎ Bachelor/Honors
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable UGC-approved university. Minimum 2.50 out of 4.00 and 3.00 out of 5.00 in academic level will be strongly preferred.
∎ Professional certifications, including Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), or equivalent, are strongly preferred. Additional certifications related to Power and Cooling systems or Data Center Infrastructure will be considered a plus.

∎ Power and Cooling systems related hands-on experience is required·
∎ Standards and Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center standards, cooling & electrical engineering principles and electrical safety regulations with the ability to ensure compliance.
∎ Ability to conduct periodic capacity planning, testing, perform gap assessments, carry out preventive maintenance, and analyze system failures to minimize disruptions.
∎ Project Management: Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance, with effective planning and coordination skills.
∎ Hands-on experience in Data Center Infrastructure management.
∎ Proven experience managing and maintaining data center cooling, environmental monitoring items, fire systems, power distribution systems, including UPS, generators, PDUs, transformers, and switchgear.
∎ Demonstrated ability to implement and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute standards), electrical safety regulations, and local regulatory requirements.
∎ Experience in capacity planning, cooling & power load management, and ensuring redundancy for high-availability infrastructure.
∎ Experience related to Data Centre Operations for 24/7 banking services is preferable·
∎ Willingness to Work in a 24/7 Environment·
∎ Proficiency in Data Center Infrastructure Management Software &Strong Documentation Skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Power Infrastructure Management- Design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution units (PDUs), UPS systems, generators, circuit breaker, etc. Ensure uninterrupted power supply and redundancy in alignment with data center international best practices. Conduct periodic testing, gap assessment and remediation, maintenance, and failure analysis to mitigate potential power disruptions. Related suppliers and vendor management, SLA monitoring.
∎ Cooling and Environmental Controls: Manage the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of cooling systems to regulate temperature, humidity, and airflow within the data center. Develop strategies to optimize cooling efficiency, minimizing energy consumption while ensuring optimal operating temperatures. Related suppliers and vendor management, SLA monitoring.
∎ Environmental & Safety Preparedness: Manage the environmental issues like water, smoke & humidity detection and alert system. Fire detection and suppression systems in compliance with national and international standards. Collaborate with cross functional department/units to maintain comprehensive fire safety protocols.
∎ Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure data center operations comply with national and international standards, such as ANSI/TIA, ISO, and Uptime Institute guidelines, as well as local regulatory policies and guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and certifications, and implement necessary adjustments to align with updated requirements. ·
∎ Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize monitoring tools to track DC infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and reliability. Prepare regular reports for management on usage, system health, and compliance with operational standards. ·
∎ Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including facility management, IT, and procurement, to support overall data center goals. Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and sustainability. ·
∎ Data Centre Establishment Project Experience: Working experience in any mid to large scale data center establishment is required, which includes design certifications to rollout operations. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, look after project implementation, certifications, budget management and successful rollout. ·
∎ Data Centre Operations Management: Experience related to Data Centre Operations for 24/7 banking services is preferable.
∎ We are seeking an experienced Data Center Professional to manage all aspects of data center’s infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, safety, and efficiency of critical systems, including power distribution, cooling, and environmental controls, to maintain optimal operational standards.
