Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or similar discipline from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record and having no third class/division in academic career;
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Run administration and troubleshooting of RISC/CISC environment (IBM, Oracle, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, and HP);
∎ Run regular operations, integration, and troubleshooting of Windows, Linux, and UNIX (AIX and Solaris);
∎ Run administration and troubleshooting of High Availability of HACMP/Power HA, Solaris Cluster, and Pacemaker Cluster;
∎ Run administration and troubleshooting of LPAR, LDOM, and virtualization of VIOS, VMWare, OVM, and KVM;
∎ Run administration and troubleshooting of Hardware Security Module (HSM);
∎ Run regular operations, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware load-balancer;
∎ Run regular operations of storage and backup environment (software and hardware);
∎ Run regular administration, operations, integration, and troubleshooting of middleware ( Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Glassfish);
∎ Ensure all services are running within the capacity and healthy by running regular health checks and taking corrective measures;
∎ Understand and run operations based on ITIL practices (change, incident, problem, time,CMDB, and capacity management);
∎ Ensure that audit issues (regulatory/internal/external) are addressed duly for resolving and regularizing and responding/escalating audit comments in due time and manner;
∎ Timely escalate service quality issues and proactively initiate to resolve to ensure satisfaction;
∎ Ensure 24/7 support modality for Hardware, OS, Storage, and Backup systems;
∎ Regular VA mitigation activity (Patch Update, Firmware Update, Bug Fix, etc.);
∎ Understand of developing Shell scripting and upgrade Patch implementation of Unix system;
∎ Ensure problem analysis and solving of Vulnerabilities of systems and minimize risk or human errors;
∎ Manager Vendor and multiplatform hardware platform, software solutions for running BAU service;
∎ Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management;
∎ Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability;
∎ Protectively update required for maintenance, monitoring, documentation, processes, and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 7-10 years experience in running similar operations in large infrastructure setups in Linux, Load-Balancer, Storage, virtualization, and middleware areas;
∎ Candidates having third division/class in any academic exam need not apply;
∎ Strong understanding of computer system architecture;
∎ Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.);
∎ Strong understanding of computer networking (IP, routing, NAT, masquerading, DNS);
∎ Strong command over UNIX shell scripting, python, and automation tools;
∎ Multitasking, prioritization, time management, and teamwork skills in a large team;
∎ Passionate about learning and taking challenges; challenging the status quo;
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skill;
∎ Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking; out-of-the-box thinkers;
∎ Vendor certification is preferable for Linux, UNIX, Windows, Storage, Backup, virtualization, and others shall get advantage;
∎ Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled.
