Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis across a range of corporate matters.
∎ Collaborating with senior lawyers to draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
∎ Providing expert guidance and advice to clients on banking and finance matters.
∎ Ensuring legal compliance through due diligence and meticulous vetting of land documents.
∎ Assisting in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
∎ Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, when necessary.
∎ Engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
∎ Remaining updated on legal developments and changes in corporate laws and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate practice, preferably at a reputable law firm.
∎ Extensive knowledge and practical experience in banking and finance matters.
∎ Proficiency in vetting land documents and contract law.
∎ Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Thorough understanding of corporate laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
∎ Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
∎ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Commitment to upholding professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality.
∎ Preference will be extended to Barristers and to candidates enrolled as Advocates with the Bangladesh Bar Council.
