Experience:

• 5 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Masters

• Master`s Degree from any recognized university with major either in Economics or Statistics.

• 5 to 7 years

• Age 35 to 45 years

Working Experience:

• 05-07 years in pure research work, both qualitative and quantitative.

• Note: In case of candidates with more experience, the age limit may be relaxed. 

Additional qualification:

• Excellent skills using commonly used software SPSS, Statistical Software, MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication.

• Should agree to follow the organizational principles and policies including Gender, PSEA, Child Protection.

• Good presentation skills Familiar with quantitative and qualitative analysis plans and patterns.

• Excellent communication skill both in Bangla and English.

• Coordinate and Communicate outsourcing Research Team individuals as per the need/demand of the organization.

The Village Education Resource Center (VERC) is a national level voluntary organization. The organization is registered under the Bureau of NGO Affairs and the Ministry of Social Welfare, whose certificate numbers are 133 and Dha – 02282/89 respectively and it is also registered with the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) with certificate number 01275-00523-00017. In order to recruit honest, enterprising and hardworking manpower for the mentioned post for the organizational programs on an urgent basis; applications are being invited from Bangladeshi citizens.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to designing strategies and protocols in relation to research.

• Lead the assessment and prioritization of qualitative research needs and communicate with the immediate supervisor.

• Play a key role in developing research concepts, methodologies, tools, techniques and processes of data collection for researches in relation to microfinance program and other development programs/projects of VERC.

• Lead qualitative studies from the design stage to implementation (designing tools, planning field operations, training field surveyors/staff, supervising/coordinating data collection, analyzing data, and report writing).

• Frequent field visits to different intervention areas of VERC for research and other organizational purposes.
