Educational Requirements:
∎ Preferably Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or in a related field;
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create, execute and report on consumer and sales agent insights gathering implementation plan;
∎ Based on insights co-develop recruitment, training, demand creation and supply chain solutions for the two distribution partners together with the BoPInc team;
∎ Set up M&E framework to measure the impact of the project from an activity level up to the outcome level;
∎ Test some of the draft recruitment, training, demand creation, and supply chain solutions and report on the effectiveness
∎ Co-organize two partnership meeting workshops;
∎ Support the development of a demand creation approach to increase the demand for products in rural Bangladesh;
∎ Working with partners, support the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of demand creation pilot.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5-7 years' commercial experience focused on gathering consumer insight, project management, marketing and distribution for low-income consumer groups (with incomes below 8 US$ per day), ideally in the FMCG/ Food-Nutrition (consumables) sector;
∎ Knowledge and experience in supply chains and the last-mile distribution challenges and opportunities in rural and urban markets;
∎ Ability to work with diverse stakeholders; government, top development players, large MNC's, rural SME's;
∎ Excellent communication skills, in both English and Bengali and ability to prepare own materials;
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay outside Dhaka for project implementation;
∎ Affinity with the mission of BoP Innovation Center;
∎ Strong curiosity to understand and benefit low-income consumers and markets.
