Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of commercial/development sector experience in managing financial and administrative operations for a reputable organization.
∎ Knowledge of the legal and tax system in Bangladesh.
∎ Hands-on experience in the filing of tax returns and with the management of petty cash, VAT regulations, and dealing with commercial banks and auditors.
∎ Experience with financial management systems, project applications, invoicing, payment, and reporting.
∎ Experience with the automated accounting environment. Quickbooks is a strong advantage and/or AFAS experience would be preferred.
∎ Experience with preparation of invoices, cash flow knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliation.
∎ General office management skills and administration skills.
∎ Excellent English writing plus verbal communication skills and capability to work remotely with a global finance team in the Netherlands and financial advisors in Bangladesh.
∎ Drive to succeed in a support role, able to work independently on own tasks, service-minded, and enjoying supporting the team on all daily administrative activities.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Process incoming invoices, payments to suppliers, and expense sheets of staff (creditors projects and general)
∎ Prepare and process outgoing invoices (Vendors/third parties)
∎ Manage advance payment for employees for project purposes
∎ Prepare bank payments
∎ Support with monthly VAT submission
∎ Support with monthly payroll
∎ Monthly check of balance and profit/loss
∎ General financial assistance to all staff and the Accounting Firm
∎ Planning and tracking of monthly resources using the resource planning tool
∎ Preparing and monitoring general and project budgets
∎ Be in close contact with the global finance team in the Netherlands on internal invoicing, project contracts and budgets, and other finance issues.
∎ Create monthly and quarterly corporate financial reports (general and programs/projects)
∎ Support with the yearly company TAX submission
∎ Support with the annual financial report and audits
∎ General financial assistance to program and project managers
∎ Organize existing and new filing system for important and confidential company documents
∎ Prepare reports on expenses, office budgets, and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
∎ Book meeting venue as required, schedule and assist with in-house and external events
∎ Arrange travel arrangement and accommodations for staff
∎ Answer general queries by employees and clients
∎ Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
∎ Maintain and update company databases
∎ Manage office supplies stock and place orders
∎ Update and maintain office policies and procedures as needed
∎ Operational financial tasks
