Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct training and work within a formal structure
∎ Acting as a focal for knowledge management knowledge sharing and reporting for protection
∎ Conduct a Safety Audit to assess safety and security concerns for women and girls in the Bhasan Char
∎ Closely work with the respective person/team to develop concept notes, proposals, technical documents, and project documents
∎ Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports as well for partner and sector-related use of HCMP-BRAC
∎ Conducts community consultations to design programs and operations
∎ Support DPM in tracking the program quality and making reports
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation and Sharing knowledge and experience and contributing to BRAC practice areas
∎ Collaborate with legal and CBP on both qualitative & quantitative report
∎ Acting as GBV focal
∎ Monitor the Man and Boys and SASA Together! Interventions
∎ Responsible for any duty, that has been assigned by supervisors
∎ Represent BRAC protection to the other stakeholders including GOB authority
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This role will be responsible for implementing context-sensitive strategies, mainly at cluster level. In addition, provide direct input on program development in all relevant projects, including GBV response, risk mitigation, empowerment of women, capacity building and coordination-related activities in line M&E, Reporting, Knowledge sharing, knowledge management, and more.
