∎ Selection of accredited Vendors, price negotiation, smoothing delivery functions, vendor & contract management, and market sourcing.

∎ Able to work independently all sorts of local & foreign procurement for all of BRAC Programs.
∎ Minimum 4-5 years of Procurement / Supply chain Management experience in the areas of ICT procurement, dealing with OEM & Foreign vendors

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure purchasing according to BRAC Procurement Guidelines and Implementation Procedures (BPGIP) including other donor agencies recommendation, ensuring compliance issues as well as maintaining on time delivery to BRAC programs and other affiliated subsidiaries.
∎ Responsible for ICT, Logistics & Stationary items procurement of the organization through assisting the team members in performing their responsibilities with thorough compliance
∎ Ensure issuance of RFQ for Open Tender Method, Limited Tender Method and Quotation Method within the stipulated SLA to provide the right products at the right time at right place in the right condition in right quantity at right cost.
∎ Ensure collection of Vendor's invoice & challan within the given SLA after goods or services delivery.
∎ Maintain a close collaboration with concern programmes, enterprises, accounts department and other internal & external stakeholders in order to ensuring smooth operation at lowest possible cost
∎ Conduct regular sourcing for better supply market exploration and reducing the inventory level by ensuring the lead time properly.
∎ Initiate prompt actions for emergency purchase in emergency case and big purchase for special occasion.
∎ Preserve & presenting of 100% files for domestic and donors audit trial requirements.
∎ Scrutinize, approving and recommending the purchase documents of team members as per the financial authority of HRPP.
∎ Arrange yearly internal stakeholders and external stakeholders meeting (Partners' Forum) to minimize the procurement related issues. Also arranged one yearly meeting with several departments/enterprise both head office and field level staff.
∎ Assist procurement department to meet up the transformation of BRAC to social enterprise model from predominant business model.
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ Supervise purchasing of ICT, logistics & Stationary items as per requirement of BRAC Programmes with a view to ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and speed up the procurement process and also ensure value for money maintaining highest level of integrity with due compliance.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
