∎ Understanding USG grant programming requirements under USG Food for Peace PL480 Programming awards grant award documents, grant suspension/termination rules,
∎ Familiarity with Key M & E processes (e.g. baseline and evaluation studies, outcome measurement tools and analysis)and indicators in a USG Food for Peace Project-based database operations , data entry , analysis and generation of results for reporting purposes;
∎ Understanding USG reporting requirements both narrative and financial reporting (e.g. Performance Reporting formats,SF425Forms , and commodity and monetization commodity/statistical reporting)
∎ Technical Writing skills Presentation skills, competent in use of MS Officer
∎ At least 5 years of extensive experience working with non-profits ,
∎ USAID funded programs preferably USG Food for Peace PL480 awards.
∎ Demonstrated/ Proven experience in working with inter-departmental, cross –organizational and cross-cultural teams
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the roll out of a comprehensive Knowledge Management Strategy and repository of learning.
∎ upport the roll out of a learning agenda and address key learning questions tailored to the Nobo Jatra goal and context.
∎ Develop high quality knowledge outputs such as Nobo Jatra research briefs, factsheets, case studies, feasibility studies, technical briefs.
∎ Identify and cultivate key press contacts to generate strategic earned media opportunities; assist with pitching and media relations
∎ Organize the planning and coordination of national level learning events and semi-annual learning events aligning with the Nobo Jatra learning agenda and technical program implementation cycle.
∎ Developing appropriate and accessible print, electronic, and web-based products to share best practices and lessons learned (case-studies, leaflets, videos, and tools);Contribute in designing knowledge management materials for NJP;
∎ This is a nuanced role that focuses on i) knowledge management and ii) media and communications outreach and positioning through print, electronic and multiple forms of social media. The post-holder will play a key role in the roll out of a comprehensive Knowledge Management Strategy. S/he will also lead the roll out of a thematic learning agenda along with specific learning questions tailored to the Nobo Jatra context. Associated deliverables also include drafting strategic and technical materials, including Nobo Jatra component briefs, research briefs, factsheets and case studies that summarize and synthesize program learning and impact. S/he will work closely with the Knowledge Management and Communications Manager, M&E Manager, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Research and Program Technical Director to allow for rapid uptake of learning and translation into dissemination of materials and technical resources to different stakeholders using a variety of web-based knowledge sharing platforms and technologies. Also, the incumbent will play a leading role to identify and cultivate key press contacts to generate strategic earned media opportunities and assist with pitching and media relations at the Dhaka, Khulna and sub district level. S/he will play a critical role in the roll out of the Nobo Jatra media engagement plan and develop clear strategies to actively promote and amply various campaigns (marriage not before 18, youth roundtables, district roundtables, social accountability programming etc.) through multiple forms of print, electronic and social media.
