∎ At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the education or development sector.§ Proven experience in designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation, and accountability systems for projects.§ Experience working with donor-funded projects is an asset.§ Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and statistical software.§ Excellent report writing and communication skills.§ Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.§ Familiarity with accountability principles and practices.§ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.§ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.§ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement ‘Let Us Learn (LUL): Enhancing educational access and alternative learning opportunities for out-of-school children and adolescents in remote areas’ Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.Monitoring:· Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring plan that aligns with the project’s goals and objectives.· Establish performance indicators and data collection tools to track progress against targets.· Regular field visits to monitor project activities and ensure data accuracy.· Compile and analyze monitoring data to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.Evaluation:· Design and implement evaluations, including baseline, midline, and endline assessments, to measure project impact.· Develop evaluation frameworks, including methodologies, tools, and timelines.· Analyze evaluation data to generate insights on project outcomes and effectiveness.· Prepare evaluation reports and present findings to project management and stakeholders.Accountability:· Develop and implement accountability mechanisms, ensuring that project beneficiaries and stakeholders can provide feedback and participate in decision-making processes.· Establish and manage feedback and complaint response systems.· Ensure that feedback from beneficiaries is systematically collected, analyzed, and used to inform project adjustments.· Promote transparency and accountability in all aspects of project implementation.Data Management and Reporting:· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data collected through monitoring and evaluation activities.· Ensure Real Time Monitoring data posting.· Maintain a secure and organized database of all MEA data and documentation.· Prepare and submit regular MEA reports to project management, donors, and stakeholders.· Collaborate with the Documentation, Reporting, and Learning Coordinator to integrate MEA findings into project reports and learning processes.Capacity Building:· Provide training and support to project staff and partners on monitoring, evaluation, and accountability processes.· Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the project team.· Develop and deliver capacity-building sessions on data collection, analysis, and reporting.Collaboration and Communication:· Work closely with project staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the MEA framework.· Liaise with the Documentation, Reporting, and Learning Coordinator to ensure that learning from MEA activities is effectively communicated.· Participate in project planning and review meetings, providing input based on MEA findings.Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, and WB Policy.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 71,208 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
