∎ Comprehensive understanding of capacity building principles and methodologies, evidenced by prior experience in conducting training needs assessments and developing tailored training materials.
∎ Proven proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, essential for documentation, data analysis, and presentation purposes.
∎ Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, encompassing the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and foster collaborative working relationships.
∎ Strong organizational and time management abilities, essential for managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the smooth execution of project activities.
∎ A demonstrated commitment to gender equality, non-discrimination, and sensitivity towards diverse communities, reflecting a values-aligned approach to the work.
∎ Previous experience working in the development sector or with humanitarian organizations would be advantageous, highlighting an understanding of the context and challenges faced in such environments.

∎ The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Gender and Inclusion Specialist, responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on project activities in alignment with donor requirements. The incumbent will collaborate with various sectors to achieve project goals, strengthen partner organizations, and facilitate capacity development of staff and stakeholders. Essential duties include conducting training needs assessments, developing training materials, facilitating workshops, and evaluating their effectiveness. Additionally, the incumbent will supervise and monitor project activities, conduct field visits, and engage in community mobilization efforts. Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office applications and report writing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to gender equality and social inclusion, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented and gender-sensitive environment.
