Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Closely work with the Project team to develop and design the training curriculum including suggestions for updates and improvements in alignment with the project goal.
∎ Collaboration of working relations with all inter-departments for conducting training module development.
∎ Responsible for checking the alignment of curriculum and training and also involved in planning, implementing, and monitoring the training activities of the project.
∎ Responsible for conducting cultural orientation classes following USAID Bijoyee Project and BYLC guidelines and the curriculum developed by USAID and can provide training for a variety of wide range of participant groups including staff, beneficiaries, partners, stakeholders, and others.
∎ Must have an understanding of the NEET and EET youth-related issues in respective project areas.Developing trainer's skills for the classroom for different partners of the project.
∎ Foster a learner-centered environment in the training room through youth and community people which builds an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for successful project deliverables.Operational(70%):
∎ Managing trainers of different Hub and help them to improve capacity as trainer.
∎ Responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CO curriculum and materials.Ensure quality training for all beneficiaries of the project.
∎ Observe sessions in spoke office and debrief with trainer for continuous development in curriculumConduct training sessions in other working locations of USAID Bijoyee Project , including remote sessions.
∎ Reporting, documentation and communication with BYLC Skills Development and Training Team
∎ Ensure that all attendance records are maintained accurately by the Trainer Development and implementation of the training schedule and call list when needed.
∎ Ensure a planned logistical arrangement and the upkeep of project facilities when necessary.People Management and Relationship Building(10%):
∎ Manage and ensure different initiatives for the capacity building of team members.
∎ Maintain functional relationships with the Youth Skills Specialist, BYLC Skills Development and Training Team, and other partner organizations and with local stakeholders and beneficiaries and other relevant stakeholders for the smooth operation of the project.
∎ Ensure a strong network with other NGOs, government agencies, private sectors and relevant stakeholders to advocate for promotional events and engagement with private sector agencies.
∎ The Master Trainer will work under the USAID Bijoyee Project of BYLC, which is the strategic partner of CARE Bangladesh, including some other partner organizations. The project focused on a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including building soft skills, creating an environment for employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents. The Master Trainer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and coordination of the capacity building, learning, facilitating, and training activity with the collaboration of all engaged stakeholders. S/He will ensure its successful execution and timely completion of work under the guidance of Youth Skills specialist, Skills and Employment manager. This position will be based in Dhaka North and South, Chattogram, Khulna, Rangpur, and Mymensingh but frequent travel to different Spokes (sub hub office under the project implementing areas of USAID Bijoyee Project.
