∎ Graduate or Post Graduate in university degree in agriculture economics, development and poverty study, agriculture statistics, agriculture marketing and allied fields from following universities like Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (Dhaka); Bangladesh Agricultural University (Mymensingh); Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur; Sylhet Agricultural University; Khulna Agricultural University; Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Patuakhali Science and Technology University

∎ Assistant/Associate Research Manager - Agriculture, Livelihood & Sustainability
∎
∎ Responsible for connecting diversified organization (International, National-Private and Public, Corporation and Ministry) with GRM in the context of developing opportunity for Livelihood, Agricultural & Sustainability research. Execute company strategy for the department to meet the quality of research (proposal to final report) for stakeholder`s satisfaction. Need to be skillful for Prepare unique Research Proposals as per EOI/RFQ published by local and international prospects.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Explore Opportunities of Research published by International and National organization and connect the dots to make it complete.
∎ Develop the network (internal and external) and execute the overall Business process of the department.
∎ Build connection with resources and stakeholders from International and local Development agencies working in Bangladesh.
∎ Build connection with resources and stakeholders from National (private and public) organization other authorities and regulatory bodies working in Bangladesh those exploring relevant researches and different Impact analysis.
∎ Explore EOI/RFW regular basis and develop unique research proposal with suitable methodologies and tools to address the Objective as per research requirements.
∎ Establish communication with stakeholders including service providers, civil society organizations, village level institutions, local government bodies and government departments in regard to project activity.
∎ Lead research projects, M&E related activities comes at all the stages from planning and designing to report drafting, data analysis, and results dissemination in order to provide holistic solutions to clients in research project.
∎ Lead client relationships with for research projects, and ensure research deliverables meet high quality standards that are actionable and reflect GRM highest level of commitment for their clients.
∎ Develop research proposals for clients to collaborate with Customer and other respective parties.
∎ Monitor own projects to ensure quality and maintain time & cost efficiency
∎ Provide training and necessary support for internal team so that they can be equipped to understand, execute, manage, and serve effectively to the existing and new clients.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 year(s) relevant experience in the field of core developmental research
∎ Must be competent in Research Design/ Analysis and Reporting and Good Knowledge on data collection and fieldwork and Team management
∎ The applicants should have direct work experience in any reputed Research Organization in the field of Livelihood, Agriculture & Sustainability research.
∎ Candidate should have professional rapport with MOA, BADC, DAE, DAM, BARI, FAO, UNDP etc.
∎ Positive mindset with Learning attitude and Emotional Intelligence
∎ Must have good command over English language (written & spoken) and Public Presentation.
∎ Female are encouraged to apply but no gender preference for this position.
∎ Extensive knowledge and working experience in Livelihood, Agriculture & Sustainability researcher role(s) in reputed research agency will get preference; or in Livelihood, Agriculture & Sustainability unit of research companies.
∎ Strong analytical mind, very good knowledge on advanced data collection tools, analysis methods, and different statistical & data management software's.
∎ Self-Motivated, Self-Control Good Team Player, with the ability to motivate diverse group of people and travelling anywhere in Bangladesh once needed.
∎ Strong Business Sense and Strategic Thinking with winning mindset.
∎ Excellent organizational, analytical, diplomatic, oral, and written communications skills.
∎ Computer and technology savvy, proficient in MS Suits, SPSS, STATA, R.
