• Work Experience: 3-6 Years
• Must have proven experience in managing, operating and submitting tender/bid in the e-GP portal.
• Must possess expertise and knowledge in preparing, managing, and regularly participating in tender processes (both manual and e-GP tenders).
• Must have experience in preparing tender documents, developing bid strategies and coordinating with stakeholders for the government projects.
• Thorough knowledge of L/C, C&F, Duty, Tax, Vat and other construction related charges;
• Skilled in Microsoft Office suites;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

In line with the expansion of activities of the CHEC team, we are looking for a Civil Engineer with suitable experience to join the Business Development Department as the Assistant Tender Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing, operating and submitting international competitive tenders (ICT) on the e-GP portal.
• Updating the tender database in e-GP and the Tender Database Management System (TDMS);
• Assisting in the preparation of tender documents, contract, compliance and tender strategy;
• Analyzing tender/ bid documents;
• Preparing the summary of the bidding documents and qualification criteria;
• Preparation of material quantity take-off from tender drawing and preparing comparison sheet for the related materials;
• Assisting in calculating direct and indirect cost during the tender period;
• Preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Collecting relevant materials and construction cost/price from the local market, local/ international suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Collecting information for the ongoing and the upcoming projects;
• Preparing documents for related work;
• Updating the material and equipment price database.

Salary: BDT 50,000- BDT 60,000 Benefits: Leave benefit, festival bonuses and other allowances as per the company policy.
