China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (Bangladesh Branch) is seeking an experienced professional for the role of IT Officer.
Position: IT Officer

Location: Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
Key responsibilities:
IT Support & System Maintenance:
Maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, scanners, internet connections, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment;
Manage and maintain the company’s access control system, including user registration, access permissions and troubleshooting related issues;
Provide technical support to office staff for hardware, software and network-related issues;
Install, configure and update operating systems, software and antivirus programs;
Monitor office network systems, Wi-Fi connectivity, and data backup processes;
Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and accessories.
Office and Residence Maintenance Responsibilities:
Monitor electrical systems, lighting, air conditioners, generators, water supply systems, appliances and office furniture condition;
Coordinate repair and servicing work with external vendors and technicians when necessary;
Maintaining servicing records.
Design Support:
Prepare and design office materials such as calendars, brochures, leaflets, banners, notices, presentation materials and other promotional or official documents as required;
Support the company with basic graphic design and layout work for both digital and printed materials;
Coordinate with printing vendors and ensure timely delivery of design and printing work;
Ensure all designs and materials maintain the company’s professional standards and branding requirements.
Purchasing & Administrative Support:
Handle purchasing of office supplies and IT equipment as per requirement, collect quotations, compare prices and coordinate with suppliers and vendors;
Assist in logistics, coordination and other office support functions when needed.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science;
Excellent knowledge of computer hardware, networking and troubleshooting;
Previous experience in IT support and office administration;
Must be skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW;
Experience in video production and video editing will be considered an advantage;
Experience in purchasing, vendor management or facility supervision will be considered an advantage;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills;
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
