∎ Minimum three years’ teaching experience
∎ Familiarity with the National Curriculum
∎ Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
∎ A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
∎ Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide Maximum Physical Activity Time Within the Class Period
∎ Effectively organize space, equipment, and students.
∎ Provide adequate equipment that allows all children to be active at the same time
∎ Limit teacher talk or instruction time.
∎ Plan practice opportunities that are structured for maximum participation (e.g., individual, partner and small-group activities).
∎ Structure the class so that learning occurs while students are being physically active.
∎ Motivate Children to Be Active
∎ Promoting Community Activities
∎ Play a Leadership Role in the Development of the School Physical Activity Program
