Responsibilities & Context:

Objective 1: Project Planning and Implementation

  • Ensure timely and efficient implementation of FSL under the guidance of the PM and according to the work plan developed with the PM

  • Support PM in development of project follow-up and supervision tools and apply the project’s follow-up and supervision tools

  • Supervise the beneficiaries selection process by the local partner and participate in the selection process

  • Assist PM in establishment of a beneficiaries data base system with analysis

  • Identify and inform the PM of any problems or constraints at the field level

  • Coordinate the field activities and provide technical support to the local partner’s staff in the field.

  • Visit field on a regular basis and provide assistance to implementing partner’s staffs and project beneficiaries

  • Identify and inform the PM of any problems or constraints at the field level

  • As we develop and endorse EAP with government and other non-government organizations, the APO will maintain track of these activities.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, work trackers, and other implementation tools.

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and analysis for project monitoring purpose.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes.

  • Also responsible for field implementation on gender session.

Objective 2: Stakeholder Coordination and Liaison with the relevant government stakeholders and small scale risk mitigation measures

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and partners with government agencies such as the Department of Disaster Management (DDM), Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), Cyclone Preparedness Programme (CPP), Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Department of Fisheries (DOF), and other non-governmental organizations.

  • Act as a focal point for collaboration and information exchange between the project and various stakeholders.

  • Plan, work and communicate with Anticipatory Action Working Group and Anticipatory Action Taskforce.

Objective 3: Program Improvement and Innovation

  • Participate actively in team brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for program improvement.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new initiatives that enhance project impact and sustainability.

Objective 4: Operational and Administrative Support

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the project, including administrative tasks and logistics.

  • Provide support for organizing the project’s meetings, workshops, trainings and other related events with relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage project documentation and ensure proper filing and record keeping.

Objective 5: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation plans.

  • Write, edit and disseminate program content, including, success stories and case studies.

  • Support the documentation and sharing lessons learned and best practices.

  • Quality ensuring for better outcome and continuous implementation of the project.

Objective 6: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity

  • Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary

  • Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries

  • Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities

  • Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committee;

  • Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
