Responsibilities & Context:

RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified manufacturing conglomerates, known for its plastics, stationery, metal, melamine, PVC, chemical, electronics, furniture, industrial products, light engineering, Leather goods, and Real Estate Business, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager for different projects over the country to strengthen its business. The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to ensure completion within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves day-to-day site coordination, monitoring progress, assisting in resource planning, reviewing drawings and BOQs, liaising with contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction activities.

  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor site progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety standards.

  • Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications and support implementation at site.

  • Track material usage, manpower deployment, and equipment requirements.

  • Assist in cost control, variation tracking, and preparation of progress reports.

  • Support inspections, testing, and quality assurance processes.

  • Ensure compliance with project timelines, contractual obligations, and statutory regulations.

  • Participate in site meetings and maintain proper project documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination and communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs.

  • Good problem-solving and time-management skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, project scheduling, and reporting tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
