∎ Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), a regional and inter-governmental organization invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Assistant Programme Officer (Research) in Action Research Division for its Headquarters located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ Position Title : Assistant Programme Officer (Research)
∎ Status : Fixed Term
∎ Duty Station : Dhaka, Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Director (Research)/Programme Officer (Research), the incumbent is expected to perform following responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and update the database of the Research Division;
∎ Compile Rural Development Statistics for CMCs;
∎ Compile and update good Farm and Non-Farm practices for small Farm holder in the rural areas;
∎ Conduct assigned research work;
∎ Prepares logistics when necessary for approved Action Research Programs;
∎ Provides relevant information to the other division through proper channel in achieving their goals;
∎ Performs any other duties as may be required and assigned by the Programme Officer / Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 5 (five) years' experience in relevant field;
∎ Proficient in English and computer;
∎ Familiar with modern research tools & technologies;
∎ Transparent and fair in person and profession;
∎ Good personal attitude such as honesty, punctuality;
