Job Context:
∎ Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), a regional and inter-governmental organization invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Assistant Programme Officer (Learning) in Learning & Knowledge Management Division for its Headquarters located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ Position Purpose: Assistant Program Officer (Learning) will support the Head of the Division and play a key role in ensuring the strategic and operational planning work for the department organizing various training programmes and will monitor wider developments of relevance to the effective and efficient functioning of CIRDAP operations and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in organizing various Training, Workshop, Seminar;
∎ Ensure that appropriate logistics are prepared for effective and efficient implementation of training activities;
∎ Provides information required by the Programme Officer/Director in relation to training;
∎ Analyze the TNA and prepare training calendar;
∎ Assist in communication with inside and outside stakeholders;
∎ Assist in conducting, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating and following up of projects;
∎ Maintain proper filing and records of all equipment's and activities;
∎ Ensure that Divisions requirements are closely adhere to within the stipulated timeline;
∎ Follow up of training recommendations and DGs decisions relating to the division;
∎ Assist in the management of the divisional/unit database;
∎ Performs any other duties as may be required and assigned by the Programme Officer / Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 (five) years' experience in relevant field preferably have experience at regional and/or International level;
∎ Proficient in English;
∎ Familiarity with Zoom, Google meet, Skype and Skills on arranging online Seminar, Training, Workshop;
∎ Sound Knowledge and skills in conducting training independently;
∎ Good communication skills, to successfully advocate for and mobilize action to promote freedom of association and right to collective bargaining principles;
∎ Able to prepare Training Project Proposal & Reports;
∎ Strong analytical skills, and ability to rapidly analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources;
∎ Conceptual analytical and evaluative skills to conduct independent Training program;
∎ Self-starter and good organizer;
∎ Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to demonstrate gender-sensitive and non-discriminatory behavior and attitudes;
∎ Proficient in basic computer software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to use other software packages required by the Office;
∎ Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Salary:
∎ Grade-6, Step-I carries salary of US$ 9,717 per annum (Higher step is considerable for highly qualified candidates both in experiences and competencies).
