Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to implement the Improve Access to Inclusive and Comprehensive Eye Health Services in Bangladesh Project funded by CBM Global Disability Inclusion in Bakerganj, Banaripara and Barishal Sadar Upazillas under Barishal District, Bangladesh.
Improves Access to Inclusive and Comprehensive Eye Health Services in Bangladesh Project With Support from CBM Global Disability Inclusion aims to establish an inclusive eye care system connecting the main base hospital, community clinics, and vision centers. The context underscores the lack of awareness among persons with disabilities and underprivileged communities regarding available services.
Improve access to inclusive and comprehensive eye health services in Bangladesh Project will collaborate with three Disabled People`s Organizations (OPDs) – Bakerganj, Banaripara, and Barishal Sadar – along with Sher-E-Bangla Hospital, private hospitals (Grameen Shastho Hospital Barishal, Islamia Hospital Barishal), and the National Eye Care (NEC) of Bangladesh.
Project Goal/Overall objective: Improve access to inclusive and comprehensive eye health services in Bangladesh.
Specific objective: Persons with disabilities, persons at risk of disabilities, and marginalized community members in Barishal have improved access to comprehensive eye care services.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Project`s procurement and supply processes at field levels following the organization`s and donor`s procurement policy.
Responsible for Procurement & logistic delivery of the project.
Responsible for maintaining proper books of records in connection to the procurement, delivery, and stock register.
Ensure the maintenance of all supporting documentation and requisite authorizations under Donor and CODEC rules & regulations throughout the procurement process.
Assist the Project Manager while reviewing the logistics component of field office budget proposals for consideration during budget review.
Provide technical and operational support to the field office, as well as advice on the application of logistics management best practices, systems, and procedures.
Develop key performance indicators by which localized logistics contracts can be managed.
Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan, and execute ideas and systems.
Ability to clearly and concisely express ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor the effective use and safekeeping of fixed assets and financial resources.
Any other tasks to achieve the project objectives.
S/he should abide by WHO guideline on Vision for all and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Festival Bonus (paid on a pro-rata basis during religious festivals and Yearly/ final payment)
• Travel and Transportation for project activity will be paid per organization policy and project Budget.
• Yearly Increment will be given based on the results of performance appraisal.
