We are seeking an experienced and talented Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Compliance to join our dynamic team at Knit Asia Limited situated at Gazipur. As a key player in our Compliance department, you will work closely with the Team Head to ensure the seamless execution of our Compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
Established state of the art Compliance factory as per applicable country law & international laws.
Maintain required compliance issues of the factory and implement as per customer code of conduct, Follow-up customer CoC audit to develop factory CoC accordingly
Lead compliance team & ensure all requirement of BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, OCS, OEKOTEX, ISO 9001:2015, GTW, GRS, STW, ICS, Technical audit & Environment Audit
Ensure & develop factories as per RSC (Fire Safety, Building Safety & Electric Safety) requirements and periodic follow up
Implement & maintain the Bangladesh labor & other applicable law within organization & eliminate the non-compliance issues from the factories
Develop and implement plan of action for factories to meet and maintain social compliance standards
Conduct factory pre-acceptance assessment for customer social compliance requirements
Prepare report for customer audit and prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit report
Maintain liaison with audit firm, liaison office, buyers, govt organization as required
Develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees, as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
Maintain cordial relationships with labor departments, DOE, DIEF, BGMEA, BKMEA, and other relevant authorities. Any other task assigned by the management.
