Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master’s degree in Textile/Environmental Sci/Eng/Chemistry/Chem Eng/other appropriate Science background from a reputed university (Educational qualification may be relaxed for the highly experienced/outstanding performers)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop a sustainable performance system for the company
∎ Able to work with sustainable teams of international brands
∎ Lead in interaction with customers on sustainable projects
∎ Develop and analyze of new sustainable concepts
∎ Develop an integrated ZERO Waste and Waste Recycling policy for the company
∎ Prepare reports and materials
∎ Prepare training materials
∎ Lead sustainable waste management systems
∎ Lead chemical store team for chemical inventory, and to ensure better chemical management policy
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Prior experience working with international buyers on compliance and sustainable issues, e.g. Inditex (RTM, CTW, GTW, CFW), C&A (Clean Chain, ZDHC, SCM, Higg Index), Primark, H&M, M&S, P.V.H., Best Seller, Walmart, Li & Fung; etc.
∎ Proficient in reading and writing both Bangla and English;
∎ Good computer literacy, communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ The management will have the authorityu to change the scope of work and only short listed candidates will be contacted.
