Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – IATA Finance & Accounts. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing airline financial operations including BSP reconciliation, airline dues settlement, ticketing revenue accounting, and overall IATA-related finance activities.

The role requires ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IATA/BSP regulations, and ensuring timely settlement of all airline-related transactions. The position also involves close coordination with airlines, consolidators, and internal finance teams to maintain smooth operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily airline accounting transactions and BSP reports

  • Perform BSP reconciliation and ensure accuracy with airline statements

  • Handle airline dues, settlements, and payment tracking

  • Manage ADM (Agency Debit Memo) and ACM (Agency Credit Memo) cases

  • Reconcile ticket sales, refunds, reissues, voids, and commissions

  • Prepare airline-wise financial and revenue reports

  • Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and finance teams

  • Maintain ledger accuracy and invoice reconciliation

  • Monitor discrepancies and resolve accounting issues

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Ensure compliance with IATA, BSP, and company financial policies

  • Assist management with financial analysis and reporting


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of IATA & BSP accounting systems

  • Experience in airline finance or travel agency accounting will be preferred

  • Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and coordination skills
