Job Responsibilities:
∎ The prime responsibility of the Assistant Manager, Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation is to contribute to conducting evaluation of BYLC programs and assist the RME team in providing research and knowledge support for improving BYLC programs
∎ Prepare research briefs and concept notes for studies on different youth issues
∎ Develop and implement M&E system capturing project outputs, outcomes, and impact
∎ Ensure appropriate data management systems are in place to collect and collate accurate and reliable M&E data
∎ Ensure timely and efficient completion of program evaluation surveys
∎ Analyze program and project evaluation data and document findings for progress reporting and strategic project steering
∎ Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual project progress and program evaluation reports for internal and external stakeholders per project requirements
∎ Facilitate external project evaluations
∎ Generate new ideas for future program development and provide analytical insight
∎ Any other research and program/project evaluation-related tasks as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-4 years of experience in research-related work
∎ Excellent report writing skills
∎ Outstanding presentation skills
∎ Qualitative and quantitative research knowledge
∎ Advanced skills in MS Excel such as VBA, macros, and power query
∎ Excellent analytical skill
∎ Excellent G Suite skills (including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive)
∎ Experience in using statistical analysis software such as SPSS and STATA would be an advantage
∎ Experience in using data visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI would be an advantage
∎ Publication in a scientific journal is a plus
∎ Demonstrated people management skill
∎ Attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team with people from diverse backgrounds
∎ Excellent verbal communication skill
∎ Ability to multitask
∎ Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
