• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Bachelor/Honors

• Sound knowledge on Product, Design, Trend & Fashion in international garments industry· 

• Thorough understanding of readymade garment merchandising technicalities, production process, raw material sourcing, quality aspects of garments etc.

• Working with ERP and other related software for costing and report analysis.

• Experience working with international buyers (EU, UK).

• Develop new styles based on buyer/ designer briefs, tech packs, and market trends.

• Coordinate with design, merchandising, sampling, and production teams to develop samples.

• Ensure the timely development of prototypes, fit samples, size samples, and pre-production samples.

• Review samples for fit, construction, workmanship, and aesthetics.

• Communicate with buyers regarding design ideas, fabric options, trims, and costing.

• Interpret buyer feedback and accurately incorporate changes.

• Source suitable fabrics, trims, and accessories in coordination with sourcing teams.

• Liaise with suppliers for new fabric development, wash effects, and finishes.

• Ensure compliance with buyer and sustainability requirements.

• Work closely with merchandising and costing teams to achieve target prices.
