∎ Minimum Graduate in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are looking for young, energetic and self-motivated personnel.
∎ Should have experience with Port, Depot & Customs operational Work
∎ Should be well conversant in Equipment control.
∎ Experienced with submission of IGM/EGM.
∎ Experienced in operational corresponding with Principals.
∎ Experienced in making liaison with feeder operators, obtaining slot rates, preparing shipment advise & customer services.
∎ Should have vast knowledge and experience with NVOCC & Freight Forwarding operational works.
∎ Experience in sales with Chittagong based shippers is to be treated on added qualification.
∎ Fluent in English and local language.
∎ Presentable, Good Communication Skills, Good Analytical Skills
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Container removal & stuffing/un-stuffing operations.
∎ Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Shipping Line, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding products such as Sea Import and Exports, Project Cargo etc.
∎ Candidate should have experience of Liner / NVOCC Sales & Marketing with knowledge / contacts of freight / project forwarders (both local & multi-national).
∎ Candidate should be well versed and abreast with the latest Industry Trends which are influencing the areas of Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Operational activities.
∎ Should have intimate relation with port officials and sufficient operational knowledge to protect empty containers from “Forced Loading” by port.
∎ The candidate must be proficient in English and have a detailed understanding of the full official paper work, using email or essential computer apps etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in Bengali and English
∎ Must be proficient in English writing, reading, listening & speaking
∎ Should have a positive approach, good manners, and responsible behavior
∎ Must have experience about MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Internet is compulsory
