Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate will be in-charge of handing modern trade sales made by Quasem Industries Limited and its sister concerns (Sunlite battery and lighter, Sun Chips, Sun Drinking Water, Sun Ghee, Wave Air Freshener, Wave Insect Killer.
∎ Main responsibility of candidates will be to identify ALL modern trade institutions that buy such products and visit them individually to promote the products and then maintain the relationship with the outlet to ensure repeat sales.
∎ Modern trade refers primarily to superstores, shops that stock a wide range of food and household items. Most 'modern trade' retailers (Agora,Unimart, Shwapno, Meena Bazar) have more than one outlet but others such as Lavendar may have only one.
∎ Candidate will also be in-charge of HoReCa sales (hotels, restaurants and canteens).
∎ Candidate will also oversee arranging promotional events at Modern Trade outlets and be responsible for ensuring the company products are visible and found in prominent locations in the shop.
∎ Candidates must maintain good personal hygiene and have a smart appearance.
∎ Candidate must be able to work independently without much supervision.
∎ Candidate must be able to handle a team of people under their direction and keep them motivated and develop their skills.
∎ Candidates who have experience with graphic designing and/or social media marketing will be given preference.
∎ Candidates MUST be fluent in both written and spoken English and Bengali. Candidates must be confident, assured and well-spoken.
∎ Perform any other jobs as required by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 4 years of relevant experience handling Modern Trade and HoReCa sales for reputed FMCG company
∎ A least 8 years of total work experience in sales and marketing.
∎ Candidates from English Medium School Background (completed O Levels, A Levels) will be STRONGLY preferred for this post.
∎ All candidates must have AT LEAST 5 years of experience working in modern trade sales of a reputed FMCG company.
∎ Candidates over the age of 40 will not be considered for this post except in exceptional circumstances.
∎ Strong command in English (reading, writing, speaking).
∎ Friendly personality - approachable, outgoing, assertive
∎ Creative minded individuals are preferred for this post.
∎ Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task
∎ Flexible and resourceful at problem-solving
∎ Basic computer knowledge (MS., Excel, Internet browsing, E-mail).
