∎ Update knowledge in factory HR & Compliance.
∎ An in-depth knowledge and experience of IR(industrial relations). # Knowledge on compensation and benefit.
∎ Knowledge on safety, security and compliance issues

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh EPZ labor laws & Rules, Bangladesh Labor laws & Rules, regulations, and HR best practices·
∎ Liaison with government & non-government offices for ensuring smooth operation and functioning of the factory.
∎ Monthly arrange Fire Drill, WPC meeting, Civil & Electrical & Fire Hazard, Buyers COC, Risk analysis, Environmental, Health & Safety, Schedule wise Fire Fighter & Rescue Training, SOP, Updated Law information, Canteen Committee, C-TPAT Related all issues and Compliance Requirements any kinds of Committee Meeting, Training and Awareness.
∎ Human Resources Management Policies & Procedures are prepare for the organization & implemented in effective way as required buyer’s Code of Conduct, Bangladesh EPZ Labor Act and Bangladesh Labor Law·
∎ Designing, implementing and reviewing training programs to meet specific department needs. Working closely with various departments/units in a coordinating role, assisting Departmental Head’s to understand and implementing related policies and procedures.
∎ Efficiently recruitment, training, counseling, orientation program & assign job description.
∎ Wages, benefits, pay & allowances, settlement of employee pay & fixation as mentioned EPZ labor law/company act.
∎ Ensure HR issues - plan, develop, recruit, train, sustain and lead a team which also includes policies & procedures, disciplinary action etc.
∎ Preparing, organizing & managing factory audits as per buyer’s social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security & QMS requirement.
∎ Maintain regular contacts with the concerned legal departments and ministries of the Govt. of Bangladesh etc.
∎ Prepare the factory for fulfilling all the parameters demanded by ACCORD & ALLIANCE.
∎ Sound knowledge on process & procedures of certification of WRAP, BSCI, SADEX, ISO and other certifications.
∎ Experienced in health & safety issues covering fire safety, electrical safety & building safety.
∎ Keep the factory Housekeeping always ready to face any unannounced audit with all audit documents.
∎ Prepare annual training calendar; ensure training is conducted as per schedule & effectiveness with proper documentation/register as demanded by the buyer’s Code of Conduct.
∎ Interact with factory personnel to develop an awareness of compliance issues to achieve better compliance standards.
∎ Follow up and monitor on organizational, employee relations, communication as well as grievance handling issues of the unit and ensure congenial IR (industrial relations) environment·
∎ Any other job as and when assigned by the management.
