Responsibilities & Context:
∎ $ Maintain the Fire Protection Plan (FPP) which addresses fire prevention and exposure.
∎ § Follow up detection and protection system as per BNBC/NFPA, RSC guild line.
∎ § Should have sound knowledge on detection & Protection system as per RSC Standard.
∎ § Should have knowledge on design & drawing of FADS & SUPS as per RSC Standard.
∎ § Maintain NFPA Checklist as per requirement.
∎ § Conduct daily, weekly and monthly fire safety awareness program and training as per schedule.
∎ § Ensure that all fire security personals/ instruments are in right order and perform the duties as per the requirement.
∎ § Monitor, Review & Check-up regularly all types of Firefighting equipment’s as per RSC Standard.
∎ § Ensure safe working environment.
∎ § Assess the risks of accidents and availability of safety/preventive measures of all units/projects.
∎ § Provide necessary recommendations on fire/safety and compliance issues and lead the implementation of preventive measures upon approval.
∎ § Fire/Safety/ Compliance training plans and management for all employees.
∎ § Assessment of dangerous and unsafe circumstances.
∎ § Maintaining and testing the firefighting equipment, identifying the fire-fighting system's weaknesses and improving it.
∎ § Coordinate with all Factory Heads and Officers about fire safety related matter.
∎ § Officially contact with the local Fire service and civil defense, police stations, hospitals and medical centers, other relevant organizations etc.
∎ § To look after factory compliance issues.§ Monitor health, safety and environmental law and development to keep the company up to date.§ Initially and HSE sessions are handled and followed by scheduled tasks.
∎ § Manage regular and indefinite security inspections to ensure that all sections adhere to the terms of safety statement. Keep records and assist the appropriate manager of the amendment action plan.§ Conduct internal fire & evacuation drill (Night & Day) & support for external drill.
∎ § Make fire team as per requirement and update accordingly.
∎ § Monitor and guild fire team independently.§ Implement fire safety related issues as per requirements of respected buyer.
∎ § Any other task assign by the management.
